The highest mountain in the Czech Republ
Sněžka (1 603 m asl / previously shown as 1 602 m asl) is not only the highest mountain in the Giant Mountains, but also throughout the Czech Republic. With its slightly pyramidal appearance is recognizable from afar and really stands out among the other mountains being generally in the shape of protracted weathered ridges. Thanks to the cableway, generally easy access from villages in the Giant Mountain and its importance, there are always crowds of tourists for most of the time throughout the year.
