Pass with 48 switchbacks
The Passo dello Stelvio / Stilfserjoch (2,758 meters above sea level) is definitely one of the most legendary passes in the whole Alps. It was often the scene of the crucial stages of the Giro d'Italia. It can be started right from three sides: from Prato (48 serpentine leads to the summit), from Bormia or the Swiss Val Müstair. In nice weather, quite a lot of traffic with a great majority of bikers. Beautiful views of Ortler and hiking opportunities above the pass

Super, parádní serpentiny.........
nádherné stoupání, kdy máte stále před sebou serpentýny a vrchol. Minusem jsou motorkáři, kteří si tam léčí mindráky.
