The pass through which Hanibal went
Little Saint Bernard Pass (2188m asl) / Col du Petit St. Bernard / is located on the border between Italy and France. The surrounding landscape is not so dramatic compared to the other two thousanders alpine passes. Nearby is a nice lake Verney. The ascent to it is demanding mainly from the French side – the town of Séez has only 890 meters above sea level.
