Nice small county town Jičín is famous not only for its annual autumn fairytale festival and robber Rumcajs, but also as a major tourist gateway to the picturesque Czech Paradise. The surrounding trails are suitable not only for tourism but also for cycling of varying difficulty – starting from managing the hills under the Giant Mountains in the surrounding area up to the flat country landscape of Elbe basin. The town itself offers nice walks around the square, pedestrian zone, castle garden and legendary linden alley. In addition, there is the famous Saturday market. It's just a perfect starting point for several days lasting hiking program.
