  • Unfortunately, only organized tourism is possible In Tibet, which may discourage mainly broadminded trekkers who prefer walking when they want and where they want.
  • The greatest trekking possibilities are of course mainly on the southern end of Tibet, where it is separated from Nepal by the endless Himalayan ridge. The most popular are trekking to ABC Everest, BC Cho Oyu and BC Shisapangma. The most famous trek in general is to circumvent the sacred mountain of Kailash

  • Trek around the sacred Mount Kailash: A dream of perhaps every trekker – bypass the most sacred mountain in the world in an impressive landscape of western Tibet
  • Trek to BC Cho Oyu: Walk to camp under the easiest eight-thousand high mountain in the world
