Bike

Petr Liška Wrote 20.01.2013:

Cycling is still in development. Interesting may be downhill mountain biking from Jomsomu to Pokhara.

Rafting

Petr Liška Wrote 20.01.2013:

Rafting is a favorite adrenalin activity in Nepal. Every travel agency in Kathmandu will arrange you a trip for quite a wild river Trishuli. Ideal when combined with a trip to see animals in Chitwan.

Skiing and snowboarding

Petr Liška Wrote 20.01.2013:

Heliski: in Nepal, it is possible to ski in conjunction with a helicopter landing. However, expect a very high price of around eight thousand euros for five-day packages (with 4–6 runs per day).

Paragliding

Petr Liška Wrote 20.01.2013:

Paragliding is of increasing popularity in Pokhara from Sarangkot hill.

Bungge jumping

Petr Liška Wrote 20.01.2013:

There are possibilities of extreme bungee jumping. For example 160 meters high bungee jump into the ravine Bhote Kosi.

Horseback riding

Petr Liška Wrote 20.01.2013:

Horseback riding instead of trekking is not so common in Nepal, but even here there are specialized travel agencies that can arrange such an experience for you. Routes around Annapurna and the Lantang Valley are popular.

Pedal boats

Petr Liška Wrote 20.01.2013:

So this is perhaps the most popular activity on Phew Lake in Pokhara. You can take a similar ride on Lake Begnas.
