The Fagaras Mountains (Munții Făgăraș) is the largest mountain range in Romania. Its main ridge is about 70 kilometers long and is 60 kilometers long, practically does not fall below 2000 meters above sea level.there is also the highest mountain in Romania – Moldoveanu (2,544m asl).
