Fairytale village
You will find a lot of nice well-preserved timbered houses in the Czech Paradise, but there are many of these in „fabulous“ village Vesec. Therefore, a number of films were shot here. It is a very nice starting point for walks through Plakanek valleys.
Village square in Vesec
The center in Vesec is formed by grassy square, on which stands a statue of the Holy Trinity surrounded by memorable trees.
Firehouse
There is also a quaint firehouse at the square and a small pond (see the introductory photo in the photoreport).
Building with a beautiful gate
There are not many permanent residents in Vesec. Now it's rather cottager´s village – most of the buildings are beautifully restored.
Bunk houses
In the village you can find small wooden houses as well as large two-storey buildings.
Open-air museum, where people are still
You will sometimes feel like you are going through a historical museum.
The path in the direction of Vesecky Pla
Vesec is one of the starting points for a walk to Vesecky Plakanek and on to the castle Kost.
Cottages from sandstone
In Vesec you will find not only beautiful timbered cottages, but also those for which local quality sandstone was used.
The whole walk around the village will take you just a few minutes, but it is worth it. You will be pleasantly enticed for the subsequent walk around Czech Paradise.
