- The starting point to both gorges is the road N10. It is town Boumalne Dades (120 km from Ourazazate) to Dades and town Tineghir (170 km from Ourazazate) to Todra gorge.
- It is ideal to hire a car to explore both gorges. It would be very lengthy by public transport and they would not stop at all the interesting outlook places, particularly over the gorge Dades.
- If you want to explore even more remote places, or make a round trip, you must have a terrain vehicle that can handle with driving on unpaved paths.
