Also in Phi Phi Don can be found a beach, where you can feel almost like Robinson Crusoe. It is beach Moo Dee at the southeast end. You can get here by boat or through half-overgrown path through the interior of the island. Definitely make a trip here during your stay in Phi Phi.

From the main settlement of the island Tonsai it is almost two kilometers. It is significantly closer from Long Beach, less than 600 meters. The last section leads along the trail, which is partly overgrown by vegetation. Before the beach is nice coconut grove with lots of fallen coconuts (probably not picked for a few years).

The germ of coconut palms

Small palm trees grow directly from nuts, which tactically overwhelm vegetation under them.

Beach Moo Dee

Moo Dee is a beautiful four hundred meters long beach, where you will not meet a living soul most of the day. It is a perfect place for swimming.

Thirty kilometers east rises on the horizon other islands including Ko Pu and better known Ko Lanta.

Boat taxi

Peace on the beach Moo Dee is occasionally disturbed only by boat taxi with other tourists.

Low tide at Moo Dee

At low tide, when the sea retreats a few dozen meters from the shore, the beach does not already look so fabulous, like most beaches in Thailand. But on the other hand, it is at least closer to the coral reef, which is here great and full of life. You can also swim in the newly formed lakes with noticeably warmer water.
