The port of Agios Sostis and the island of Cameo

You can start your tour of Agios Sostis and its surroundings north of the port. Here you can swim on a nice beach famous for its very warm water. Although it still falls under Laganas, but if you do not want to go terribly inland, you have to wade 200 meters here, so it is quite separated from this busy resort.

From here it is also possible to watch the landing planes with Mount Skopos in the background

Right next to the beach is the small port of Agios Sostis. The most beautiful light is here in the early evening.

In the port or its surroundings you can arrange boat trips around. There are various vessels from small boats to a ship in the form of a surfaced submarine. Itineraries are also different, just choose according to your taste

Across the harbor is a view of about 550 meters high hill rising above the town of Lithakia. It could certainly be a very interesting view, but according to the map, there is no road to it

From the port it is only 600 meters as the crow flies to Laganas, probably the scariest place in all of Zakynthos

The center of the port is a small rock and a nice chapel

The rock is also a popular place for amateur climbers who want to have a photo with the Greek flag on top

Probably the biggest attraction far and wide is the island of Cameo and the famous wooden bridge leading to it. It used to be accessible for a fee, now only closed events such as weddings, etc. are held here.
