Classic tour Jičín - Turnov
The Golden Trail of the Bohemian Paradise is by far the most classic hike in this picturesque area. Along the way you will see the rock towns of Prachovské skály and Hruboskalsko, but also the symbol of the Bohemian Paradise – the ruins of the Trosky castle.
The starting point of the Golden Trail
Jicin or Turnov
It doesn't matter which city you start the march from, both are easily accessible by public transport and the connections between them are quite frequent. We will start in Jičín. If you don't know him, be sure to take at least a short tour.

From Jičín to Prachovské skal
The first stage of the Golden Trail through the Bohemian Paradise
The first stage of the march is the path to Prachovské skaly. You can set off on three different marked paths. The shortest is red (5km), where most go. But it is an uninteresting road leading all the way along the road through Holín. The most interesting is along the blue through the views of Brad and Přivýšina (7km).

Crossing of Prachovské rocks
Another part of the route leads through Prachovské skály. These are, however, paid, so if you know them and want to save, you can bypass them along the yellow and then the green hiking trail. If you go through them, which is of course the recommended option, then it's up to you whether you stay there and climb them more thoroughly or go straight (the straight section is only about 1.5 km). When expanding the circuit, count on the fact that you will still have a good portion of kilometers before you reach Turnov

This stage is almost six kilometers long. From the tourist cottage you will first descend to the Pelíšek swimming pool (formerly popular, in recent years mostly overgrown with algae). From there, first through a rock valley and then along the massif to the famous rock castle Pařez. From here there is a slightly less lively journey through the forest to Mladějov (possibility of refreshments)
