If you want to see during your visit of the beautiful Cordillera Blanca some sights or “relax” a little after trekking, it is recommended to set out from Huaraz for one day trip to Chavin de Huantar. Along the way await you beautiful mountain views, picturesque lagoon Querococha, passage through the tunnel at over four thousand meters above sea level and mountain slopes dotted with thousands of fields. The archaeological site itself is also quite interesting and there is a nice small museum on Chavin culture.
