Kralický Sněžník is the highest mountain of the NPR Kralický Sněžník. Unlike such a Sněžka, for example, you have to recharge it for the most part without the support of the cable car and the conveniences of modern civilization.

Which route to the top?

As soon as you decide to conquer ** Kralický Sněžník **, you will start thinking about how to conquer it. There are more routes, you can leave the Czech Republic from Dolní Morava in blue or yellow, you can also start in the village Stříbrnice and go on a hike from there. Distances will always be around 15 to 20 km with the way back.

How we went to Kralický Sněžník

We don't like to walk the same route twice – although there is still something to enjoy even in double passage, but we decided on a round trip. At the beginning, we took a short cable car ride from Dolní Morava and saved about 200 m of ascent. You can, of course, step on them. Then we went from the crossroads Slaměnka – cottage along the blue, green, blue to the top. Along the way, it was interesting to watch the landscape change. Recommendations for travel: It requires proper shoes, ideally waterproof, many times you will go through various puddles and soaked vegetation. Up in Kralický Sněžník you may come across a little more tourists, but even so you will not feel like you are on Sněžka – there are quite a few people and on the way you will only meet another tourist here and there. We went down the yellow road directly to Lower Moravia. Uff, it took us a while! ** Do you like my travels? ** Follow them on my Instagram: [https://www.instagram.com/pavelpancocha/]

A sharp start

Right at the beginning of the tour, there is a beautiful view, which you pay for with the first drops of sweat – a nice scoop to warm up.

From the beginning you will go through the forest

Typical mostly coniferous forest. However, as the altitude increases, the landscape begins to change.

The trees gradually begin to disappear

During the trip, you can see the destination of your trip several times. If you have an ultrasound or a telescope, you can also look at people who have already reached their destination. At this point, you are still missing a piece.

The trees are gone, there's an elephant

Trees growing to a height of a maximum of units of meters are a clear sign that you are approaching the top. If you turn a short distance off the trail, you will also reach the famous elephant! It's time for the last little rest before overcoming the top!

We're upstairs

You walked around the source of the Morava River, where you could replenish your water supply from its ice source and climbed the last meters up. The Polish border passes through at the top, so you can easily see if the grass is greener by chance ;-)

And go down!

On the way down, the knees will get really busy, but the natural beauty will make up for it!
