Southwest Altiplano is undoubtedly one of the most exciting areas that Bolivia and actually the whole South America can offer. At its core is a national reserve Eduardo Avaroa. Multicolored lagoons full of thousands of pink flamingos, shy vicuna running around weathered colored volcanic hills and half deserted villages offering accommodation for jeep expeditions. All this crowns vast salt plain – Salar de Uyuni, which is the largest in the world. It's just a landscape that everyone likes for its rugged beauty.
