Milos, a volcanic island in the Cyclades archipelago, has as if two completely different faces separated by a large bay. West mountainous part is practically unsettled with only a few dusty roads. To the east you will find bigger town of Adamantas with a harbor and a historic Plaka at the hilltop. The island is famous for its many beautiful beaches and small fishing villages.
