- The best time to visit is from February to May. It's the dry season and there are longer days.
- Then rainy season begins. However, they are usually only small rains in this area. So even during this period is the visit suitable
- There is very bad smog situation in the capital city from December to February.
- Take also into account the fact that the temperature here in the middle of the country is different than in the south or on the coast of the Caribbean. There can be tropical weather in the south, while here it may be quite cold at the same time.
- During the visit of the capital and other interesting sights expect crowds of tourists. This is also the case during the trips to famous locations outside the city such as to Teotihuacán.
