Khumbu is a prototype of Nepalese trekking style – in every village there is a great number of lodges. So except for trips to the remotest parts of the Bhote Koshi valley or to the elevation camps there is no need to carry a tent or food.
Camping

Equipped with a tent and supplies, of course, must be climbers, but also trekkers planning more challenging treks: for example, a trek to Rolwaling, to Nangpa La or in the Hunk and Hink valleys.
