Area Sagarmatha National Park

Only one hundred and fifty kilometers from Kathmandu as the crow flies lies Sagarmatha National Park located in Khumbu high mountain area, which is home not only to the hard Sherpa nation, but mainly to the highest mountain in the world – Mount Everest (8848 m asl).
