The Hrubý Jeseník Mountains are the highest mountains in Moravia and Silesia. The whole area belongs to the Jeseníky PLA. The mountain range is dominated by Praděd Mountain with its famous transmitter and the famous Dlouhá Stráně Dam. The whole area is heavily forested and little damaged by human activity.
