Cordillera Real a Yungas

The Cordillera Real is one of the most interesting parts of Bolivia. To the west of it is located the Altipláno plateau, Lake Titicaca and the capital city of La Paz. The center of the area is more than 120 km long mountain ridge with many glaciers, lagoons and eight six thousanders peaks. To the east, the terrain sinks a few kilometres down into the infinite Amazon Plain. This area of violet green slopes is called Yungas.
