This mighty river is famous for breaking through the plateau of Colorado, creating a variety of impressive canyons (outside Grand Canyon in the river basin you will find Glen Canyon or Canyonlands). It is one of the most interesting parts of the West of the USA. Visitors mostly come to the so-called South Rim or North Rim
